Dressing The Wedding Party

I went to Peter Copping at Oscar de la Renta for my dress and my whole wedding party: my matron of honor, my step daughter’s dress, the ring bearers, flower girls, and the page boy. I wanted the ladies in chic cocktail, elegant but not trying to hard. I absolutely freaked over his perfect shades of blue and forest green. In typical stylists fashion, I mixed things up. For my step daughter I picked one style from Spring 2016, but in “that fabric and in this color.” I had the boys in blue velvet like their Dad with gingham bow ties.
My twin sis became a bit more challenging but ultimately she listened to me and Peter in the end. We talked her into the dress by grabbing a last minute top from another bridal collection. Et Voilá. She has a little cover up for the church and could take it off for the party.
For our jewelry I wanted something simple and elegant for both me and my sis. My earrings are Taffin James de Givenchy and Allys are Darlene de Sedle from LA.
Now this is what I say is Chic de la Chic. It was my biggest styling job to date.
