Sonia Rykiel’s shows were always a highlight when I was traveling to Paris for editorial work. Not only did she have iconic imagery, she created an iconic moment at the end of her shows. She was a true free thinker, created a business on a contemporary chic way of dressing, and became known for her ability to incorporate stripes.
Not too long ago I posted a piece on her shorts that I have incorporated into my summer wardrobe. Here I am wearing them at Duress’s in Montauk with a Mexican top from a shop in Cuixmala, Mexico, my ARossGirl Pendant, Repetto flats, and Picotin Hermes bag with my Dior scarf.
p.s. I drove all the way from Southampton to have the tomato and Cobb salads.
